First things first, getting from suppliers who are near EZ Sourcing’s China warehouse will result in faster shipping lead time and cheaper China domestic shipping fee. It will also arrive faster to the Philippines.
However, if you haven’t found manufacturers/suppliers near Shishi, Yiwu, and Guangzhou, don’t worry. Here are some of the things you can ask your China suppliers to keep domestic shipping fee costs at the minimum.
- First, you may ask if they have distributors from Shishi, Yiwu, or Guangzhou, so that your products will arrive in our warehouses more speedily and at a friendlier rate.
-Second, if the supplier doesn’t have anyone who distributes their products in the location, then you may negotiate with your supplier the domestic shipping cost, most of them would agree to lower it, especially if they are your long term suppliers.
Different tariffs are applied on different product categories. For example, taxes on food and beverages are different from taxes for clothes. So as a result, forwarding companies also place different prices per cbm for goods from different categories. For loose container loads (LCL), goods are computed via it’s cubic meter (CBM), referring to goods’ length x width x height in cm/1million. You can always ask your China suppliers to estimate cbm or packaging dimensions of your goods, to have a better estimate of your shipping costs from China to Philippines.
However, for overweight goods, it will be computed via kg. Maximum kg per cbm is 500 kg. Once it reaches 501 kg per cbm we will start charging by kg.
Now, the shipping fee from our Manila warehouse to your location will depend on how near or how far you are from our Tondo warehouse. You may opt to pick up your goods at our Tondo warehouse, or we can also help you book lalamove to your location, not a fan of lalamove? You may also use other couriers of your choice.
